We were featured in Vancouver Family Magazine's November issue!
Our Volunteer & Engagement Supervisor spoke about Bridgeview's mission and the work that we do: "Bridgeview Resource Center is your place to turn to when you need help. We are here to serve the greater Clark County Community by providing advocacy, navigation, direct support, and warm hand-offs."

CERT-ified To Protect
Over the past seven weeks, three of our staff members completed their Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training, and are now registered as Emergency Workers for Washington State.
Pictured here is our staff with the rest of their CERT class after their final drill, where they "rescued" local high school students from an earthquake scenario.
The CERT program educates volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to prepare for hazards that may impact their area, and how to assist their neighborhood in the event of a disaster. Our staff found the class to be full of invaluable information ranging from fire safety, search and rescue, emergency medical techniques, triaging, and emergency preparedness.
If you are interested in becoming a CERT volunteer and learning how to protect yourself and others in the event of an emergency, visit their website to learn more and see when classes are offered.
Congratulations to the new class of volunteers! We are CERT-ainly proud of you!
